The New Avengers - ITV4

    The New Avengers has to be one of my all time favourite TV shows.

    I've just noticed that ITV4 have started showing it most weekdays at 4.50pm in the afternoon and repeated the next morning.

    Patrick Macnee - Steed repeating his character from The Avengers, Gareth Hunt playing Gambit - the action man and Joanna Lumley playing Purdy the beautiful action gal.

    ITV have already shown two episodes but hopefully they will repeat them as they do with The Professionals and others.

    One of my all time favourite theme tunes too......I had my hair cut like Purdeys when I was 8....

    Saw a couple of episodes last week on ITV4. Hadn't seen this show in years!!!!

    Love the cars thay drive in it. The Rover 3500 (SD1), looked the biz, back in them days!!!!

    Thanks for the heads up. BBC4 were showing this (damned odd for that channel though they did also show the Avengers and er Batman) a few years ago.
