    Hi

I ordered from an Irish website, the minimum spend to waive delivery is 50€. I ordered a total of 55€, but when the order was delivered one of the items was out of stock, thus the total of my delivery was 38€. The driver didn't mention anything, neither did the invoice.
A month later, my Visa is debited for 38€ + 15€ delivery charges. I called the customer service who said the account team would call me back, which they haven't. I sent 2 emails so far and no one has replied

My understanding is that if one item is missing, then the least they should do is offer you the option to review your order or advise you that delivery charges will be added, shouldn't they?

Is it two separate charges on your card? If so if you don't hear back from the website soon get in touch with your bank to initiate a chargeback on the 15 euro charge. If it is the same charge then do a chargeback anyway and let the website know you will repay what you owe.

Let them know you are going to do this first though as they will more than likely refund on their own rather then have to put up with a chargeback and the cost to them in admin fees.
