Hi, I heard in budget that new scheme replacing the Suckler Welfare Scheme. Supposedly 20 euro per cow up to max of 20 cows. Do you have to apply for this now or any forms out for this? Thanks

AFAIK if you were in the old SCWS you will automatically get a letter out to join this one. Might be worthwhile phoning SCWS office in Cavan I think it is?

Had our first discussion group meeting last week and were told that this new scheme was only a proposal in the budget. It sounds to me like it might never happen at all.

At our discussion group we were told it hasn't been fully finalised but as soon as it is we would receive the forms in the post.
