Celtic v Juve not in HD on ITV HD

    I was watching the big game on ITV HD last night via Other Channels on my Sky HD box but the match was not in HD.
    There was no "ITV HD" symbol in the top corner of the screen either.
    I have a HD sub.
    Did they simply not show it in HD or am I missing something?

    If you mean a HD sub with Sky then that wont matter as ITV isnt carried by them.

    In any event I had the same issue.

    I was watching it on a DM800, but I'm pretty sure it was being transmited in HD (by the way I was on the flavour of ITV HD which has now moved to Astra 2F).

    I was watching on Freesat at it was in HD (well as HD as ITV gets!)

    HD here too. Which region were ye using? I use Granada.

    I had it on too for a while on one of the HD regions and noticed it was not HD either. Though, now that all the Channel ID's are all identical "ITV HD", I'm not sure which region I had tuned in. That said, it didn't look HD on STV HD either.

    I've noticed before that the flood lights at Celtic aren't the best and in places the pitch looks dark. ITV HD was ok, but I switched to TV3 at one stage and it looked awful. Mind you, I didn't check ITV SD - it was probably as bad.

    Doubt it, TV3 is always terrible quality it's only 544x576 compared to 704x576 on ITV SD
