You'd be paying roughly 200 on top for your connecting flights from Dublin though including baggage plus spending extra in the lay overs and if your flight to or from Dublin gets delayed....

Depends on your perspective, I did this going to New York and planned Venice and Geneva as part of my trip, rather than trying to horse through it as quickly as possible.

Ryanair fly to Treviso (1 hour bus) and you have multiple choices from London also.

Getting to visit Venice, London and Perth all in for the bones of 700 euro is a pretty good deal considering flights alone are normally 1000 euros.

I'd classify an essentially free trip to Venice and London a bargain.

But their not free trips as you have to pay for the flight to Venice and from Heathrow so it'd be around 850ish all in for flights.

Sure it could be a good deal if you want to go to those cities also but i'd say the majority of people going to Oz wouldn't be bothered.

You've done a survey have you?

Why p*ss on someone else's good bargain alert? €850 is a good fare to Perth, or can you find better?

I also did a few sample searches and couldn't find the fares they quote on that page anyway. Not trying to piss on anything. Anything posted on here is there to be challenged. Look at any thread posted here.

Whatever dude ... I did it, 2 of my friends just went off there 2 weeks ago on an open jaw and there's a whole community of couch surfers that do it all the time.

Last open jaw (AMS-GVA-FCO-JFK-VCE-MST) I spent 100 euro on the connecting flights with a 15kg bag.

So yes, for people that want to go on a vacation its a bargain, if you want a direct flight then get a direct flight.

    Yes

Already aware of this fare with Malaysian, but its useless for me as I have to fly to Dublin first to get the cheap fare even though it goes through Amsterdam.

And sure by the time I pay for connecting flights its not that much cheaper, plus why the f*ck would I want to have part of my holiday in Dublin :D

By the time I pay for connecting flights to Dublin ..... :pac::pac::pac:
Haha wasn't for you. Was for the other smart arse. That way to the Dutch Bargain alerts section ---->

In fairness the Open-Jaw thing does look appealing and i've done similar trips. I just don't think the prices in this alert work out great when you've to get to get connecting Dublin flights especially considering I can't seem to find the fares when I do sample searches.

Looking to do a bit of a trip over this year stopping in Asia on the way over and Canada on the way back. Not the cheapest of routes to try do though!!
