We're just in the process of doing up a new website for our club. I'm hoping you might point me in the direction of some top quality GAA club websites. Thanks

Best one in Cavan is www.kingscourtstars.ie - has an easy to use interface, loads of history on it, including videos of past glories.

AFAIK, there is an off the shelf package you can get that a lot of clubs use - the code is built etc, etc and you just tailor to your own needs. I know the club I am involved in has looked at this recently - am sure someone here would know more on this.

Ballyhea GAA in North Cork won a Spider award for their website - very good and simple design

Our club uses one of those template websites homeclub.ie for ours. Have to say its pretty easy to use you'd be able to navigate through it easy enough. The only thing i'd recommend is don't go creating your own one.

When the time comes and maybe you don't have the time or maybe the interest to keep it going those type of websites become very hard to keep going with someone else using it. A few example of that type of website. St laurances kildare leixlip gaa kildare ballykelly gfc kildare . It also gives you the option of creating media contacts within the website so you just select the notes you've added during the week and forward them our from the website whenever you are sending notes.

Most important in all club websites is its only as good as the information going into it, needs to be updated a couple of times a week. Get the club to invest in a good camera kids and adults love to see pictures of themselves. By the way i don't have any connection to above company i'm a PRO in my own club so have good experience of it.

    Good luck with it

Have a look at www.bodengaa.ie It is a very active site with daily updates. I know the company that designed/manage it.
