Hey, just wondering what job sites can people reccommend? I've tried jobs.ie already, but looking for other sites, don't want to miss anything. cheers.

There's monster.ie and irishjobs.ie are two other websites but to be honest, anybody that I know who have got offers within the last year has been through linkedin.

Get a linkedin profile and build up your professional network.

    You've also got findajob.ie, recruitireland.com and jobs.ie.

That's a good point on linkedIn as well and I'd +1 that idea. Have a profile myself and seem to have received a few offers in the last few weeks, despite the fact that I already have a well paying permanent job.

Don't forget about the jobseeker section on the FAS website either.

If you a recent graduate, then gradpool, gradireland and college careers website are by far the best places to search and are job sites geared for graduates otherwise depending on experience if entry level morgan mckinley be good recruitment website to look into.

If more experienced - fas, irishjobs.ie, findajob.ie, monster.ie aren't too bad too look for more professional/experienced type jobs.

Check out the newspapers too they be handy if they haven't advertised online.

    Linkedin is good too.

Depending on the jobs you looking for but maybe sign up to publicjobs.ie alerts often have temp jobs on offer.

I have found the websites I use a lot more successful for me than any of the other job board sites.

Best of luck with your job search.

Look at professional networks as well. I just went to the Cork IT network's site and went through every company I could possibly work for seeing if they had positions open. In a month I had one call from a company that went nowhere, within three days of doing looking at the IT Network I've had two calls from companies.

Indeed.ie seems to pull in jobs from all other job boards and individual company job listings. You can sign up to mailing list according to your own criteria.

Might be an idea to join job alerts with companies you like to work for it be a good thing to do to sign up to them, you get the alerts as soon as there are vacancies available in that company that might have jobs be suitable for you.
