oil line is constantly pulling in air and boiler is not firing, oil pump is a delta VA, has anyone got any experience with this type of boiler and burner

I know that it is most likely advisable to fit a tiger loop but i cant understand has it has worked for years and last year the oil ran out and it was just a chase of reset and away we go,

Oil pump maybe weak. It will need to be tested with a vacuum gauge to confirm.
