Shoot first and answer questions later, surly there was someone who bought it and ventured out all tooled up and ready for zombie survival.

The alert was a bit rough, not stopping the on screen video and audio was a big tell, not that doing it right would have been a good idea, given the potential for mass violence such an alert could have triggered.

And of course they are the boy who cried wolf, and the last thing we need come Z-day is a dishevelled population unwilling to believe the truth (this time) and rushing to aid the infected, spreading the infection further. Shame on them.
