Declaration of SU Allegiances (Post them here or don't post re: SU & USI)

Getting an earlier than usual start this year, I would like anyone posting on a matter related to the SU elections AND the USI affiliation referendum to state in this thread any campaigns or candidates you are affiliated to before posting in the matter.

What I want people to post is if they are on a campaign team for a candidate, live with/are related to/are bestest mates with a candidate, or are themselves a candidate. If you think you have a clear affiliation to a candidate but it's not one of the above, err towards posting.

What I do not want people to post is who they're planning to vote for, who they like, who's policies they agree with. Start a discussion thread for that if you want, but don't put it here.

    Rules:
    • If you post in any other thread on this forum about the SU elections or the referendum without first posting here, I will ban you until you can PM me a guarantee that you will immediately post here upon its lifting.
    • If you are banned for the above and readmitted and post anything else in this forum before posting here, I will ban you until the elections are over.
    • If you post in here and I later find out you have an allegiance you didn't declare, I will ban you until the elections are over.

If, however, you don;t care about either the USI referendum or the SU election, and don't plan on posting in any threads about it, you can just ignore this.

This rule will come into effect from midnight - any posts made before then will be grand, posts from after then will be subject to the above rules.

    Have a nice day!

I'm probably helping with the Ents referendum and I'm friends with most of the people I've heard are going so far but I'm not campaigning this year.

I'm anti USI but not so much that I'll be posting about it!

Not involved this year with the SU elections.

Leaning towards a disaffiliation from USI

Best to make sure I don;t need to ban myself...

No affiliations to any campaigns (election or USI), don't believe I know anyone running for any positions.

Leaning towards disaffiliation but no time to help with the campaign.

    Exec:
Fairly good mates with Valerie O'Brien so I'll probably help her out at one stage or another.

    Sabbats:
After things getting a bit hectic last year I'll think I'll be taking a step back and just watch from the sidelines!

Not involved in any of the SU sabbatical campaigns this year (as of yet anyways). Not involved with the USI referendum campaign either, but my own preference would be to stay affiliated.

Not doing any campaigning for the elections.

Probably won't campaign for the referendum, but I'm strongly for disaffiliation from USI.

don't know anyone running, no affiliations, would be pro USI due to experiences in another college doing another degree in a galaxy far far away (the past is indeed a different country).

I'm campaigning for a No vote in the USI referendum.

I'm going friends with Aonghus O'Briain who is running for Arts Convenor and I'll be campaigning as such.

    Sin é.

As a note, discussion of the USI referendum result does not require having posted in this thread. Once results come in for the Ents referendum, that will be the case too.

Also, please refrain from posting in this thread multiple times, as it's intended to be a reference. I'll allow the above to stand (because it was pretty clever, and I needed a laugh), but as you'll note I've edited errlloyds post to contain the info from his original one, and deleted the original. If anyone needs to update their info, please quote your original post, say new info, and I'll do the same.
