    Hey Guys

Our club website Dungarvan CC was just revamped for the new season. We've also converted our facebook account to a fan page - so if you have a few minutes spare any comments, feedback would be appreciated.

    cheers

Really nice site with everything easy to find. Just a small thing, under the "Join the steady gang" page. You have "advice for beginners". The numbers have messed up along the way, they go 7., 8., 9., 0., 1., only fault I could find :)

Don't like it, pictures of men in lycra!! yuke!

Only kidding, nice site that. We did a revamp ourselves last year, kept all the club news about spins and races compact on the first page so that lads/ladies could access it off their mobile as sometimes they are a dog to navigate on smartphones.

Its a lovely site though. Good luck with it.

Great job with the site. Just wondering what you used to develop this site did you use a CMS?

It's using wordpress, looks like they just bought the theme and added in the content. Easiest way to go and well done by the club, a lot of great content and images on the site.

Why the American date format (2/11 - Feb 11th) under the 'What's New" banner?

I'm half tempted to install a mobile theme with just the news feed in it..

My only criticism is that the site is not responsive. You can get great responsive Wordpress themes for around $50 which are well worth the investment. A responsive site is one that 'responds' or 'adapts' to the size of the device you're viewing the site on so. That means that the same website can be viewed easily on desktop, tablet and smartphone.

I would have got a responsive theme if I found one that I liked and served it's purpose.
