    Hi all,
I sent in my marriage registration form into the registrar last week. The wedding took place a few weeks ago. Do I need to apply seperately for a certificate, or does one automatically get sent out?

    Thanks

You can order them online, there's a charge for them. Birthsdeathsmarriages.ie

That birthsdeaths website is a private company, they'll charge much more for the certificate. You're better off ordering it directly from the HSE. You do that at certificates.ie. It'll cost 20 euro and took about a week for me.

Perfect, thanks for that! I didnt want to order one, in case once gets sent out when you register the marriage. Do I need to wait for any confirmation before applying?

Nope you don't need to wait for a confirmation. They'll give you a shout if there are any problems but i haven't heard of anyone having issues.
