    Hi,

I'm looking for something in a plasma, 47 or more inches, preferably full hd, and if it has smart/3d features, even better.

So far, I've identified the LG 50PA650T and the Samsung e450 as possible contenders (I know the e450 is just hd ready).

Any recommendations, or if anyone who owns either of these sets is reading, would you recommend them and why?

    Thanks guys.

I was looking for similar TV but a bit smaller and LCD. Found something catchy on Pixmania.ie - LG 42LM640S 3D LED Television:
    http://www.pixmania.ie/ie/uk/12988542/art/lg/42lm640s-3d-led-televisio.html

They are also offering €20 discount until 20th. That pretty much means free delivery.

Am just worried about 2 things:
how reliable is Pixmania these days
the S model seems to be for French market where T one IRL/UK

    Any thoughts?

I got the LG 50PA650T on special offer in Power City in early December, €650 plus €10 delivery (I live in Roscommon :D). It's an amazing TV but you need to take it off the default picture settings as they are way off colour. Do not go by the image if you see it on a display, it's grand once you turn off energy saving, set it to standard picture mode and turn dynamic contrast to low.

Here is is in Currys for less: http://www.currys.ie/Product/LG-50PA650T-Full-HD-50andampquot-Plasma-TV/312827/339.0
