Hi guys. I have 1 wireless router.

The range is limited... can I hook another wireless router up to this one?

Run a long cable from it, and put it in another part of the property.

yep, I've done it. but instead of a long cable between them use a home/powerline plug
Job done no messy cables. Also the second router will have its own wireless network, ie it'll have a different name.
