    I have hit a wall tracing My grandfather Michael Oliver and his sister Catherine.

    Despite the info below I have failed to find a birth cert for either. Family have it that Michael spent a lot of time looking for his cert and travelled from Dublin to London for this with no luck. He was convinced his family home was in the London /Kent Area. Expensive and time in his computerlless days.

    His father Johns discharge papers from 23 Fusiliers show his intended residence as Reading Berkshire ( discharged Dublin 9/10/1878)

    I have a baptismal record -
    Michael Oliver
    1885 - 5650 Workhouse/St. Nicholas RC Liverpool
    birth 1885/9/28
    baptism 1885/10/6
    Father John Oliver
    Mother Mary ne LeddyMary
    Volume 282-Nic-4-2c(334)

    And

    Catherine Oliver
    1883-5673 St. Joseph RC Liverpool
    Birth 1883/10/15
    Baptism 1883/10/31
    Father John Oliver
    Mother Mary nee LeddyMary
    Volume 282-Jos-1-6(96)
