Not quite there yet, apparently it's a cloudy substance rather than clear. But it would be freaking awesome.

I will coat everything I own in that stuff! Including myself.
Probably not the best on brand-spanking new cars that where bough to be shiny, but on vans, off-roaders and machinery it could be great.
Imaging coating the inside of a concrete mixer with that! Never again have a concrete mixer that ends up with inches of caked on concrete that you spend hours washing off or hammer away at.

Would be handy on spray guns if it didn't react with the paint. Good for outside of engine block and exhaust if it doesn't react with heat.

Spray it on your arse and you'd never need to wipe again :D

Not if you plan on sitting on it, you'd slide right off :pac:

Nevermind the toilet, coat someone's toilet paper with that stuff!

Unfortunately pressure washers remove this stuff really easily apparently. Not that you'd be needing one often on it. :P

would be a good under sealant for cars, very interesting if real

Loose chippings would probably destroy this stuff.

I believe Bertie Ahern was baptised in it.

It's real alright. I recently seen a science program with Richard Hammond presenting this stuff. They are talking about coating mobile phones with it, inside and out. They showed one dropping down the toilet (a common thing it seems) and the phone working perfectly well after kerplonking into the loo and being left for a few seconds. The water was clean by the way ;)
