Not fully sure but I would imagine it is 23%.

Only similar case I could relate to this is a newspaper distributor who charges 9% on sale of newspaper but 23% on the delivery/distribution element.

Zero until you register for vat or are over the thresholds.

Read the guide to vat in the stickies

Vat is registered. It is a general query.
As far as I understand but I am open for correction:
13.5% Vat If it is just the delivery service provided (i.e. Company supplies their own flyers/newspapers as it is only a service provided )
23% Vat If it is the supply of leaflets and the delivery service(Technically we are selling them a product in the form of the leaflet)

I could be wrong and am open for correction but as I am saying I am just looking for peoples opinions on it.

Good to see the mods are as helpful as ever

Not only is the link in the stickies broken, but I doubt the answer would be found there.

The printing of leaflets is at the special reduced rate of 9%.

The delivery is at the standard rate of 23%.

Thanks for the help Smeharg. Yeah the mods are their usual helpful selves.
I was under the understanding that the delivery of leaflets were at the 13.5% mark as it was a service and not a product provided. Guess I was wrong :)

I would think it depends on if you are distributing your own leaflets or for someone else. If you are printing and then distributing your own leaflets then I think you could argue the reduced rate. But if you are a distributor of other peoples then it would be the higher rate of 23%
