I have an interview next week and my interview suit is 8 years old and completely out of date. So I am on the hunt for a new suit. What shops sell good quality women's suits? M and S? Debenhams?

It really depends on yuor budget...M&S are good, as are Debenhams, Next, Pamela Scott, smaller boutiques. If you want something edgier then River Island or Zara. Dunnes do reasonable ones as well. As do Tesco believe it or not - not all are polyester! one of the nicest dresses and jackets I have for work came from Tesco. It won't last forever, but it is not cheap looking either, really nice quality twill fabric, and IIRC it was less than €70 for both the dress and the jacket.

If you will be getting plenty of wear out of it I would recommend M&S as the quality and fit are usually better (better length options etc).

Thanks *so* much for your help! Thanks to you I didn't waste any time and got my suit in M and S and my top in Next. All I need now is a nice black bag and some good luck.
