Need some cheering up as may have found a deal breaker in my relationship so rather than wallow in my misery I would like to see what traits, habits or opinions would make the good people of AH run for the hills.

This is a list of dealbreakers that have led me to end relationships in the past..

Gritting her teeth in her sleep.
    Snoring.
    Being a rubbish kisser
    Turning vegetarian.
    Masturbating with carrots.
    Farting everywhere.
    Being a gold digger
Telling everybody intimate details about our sex life including the size of my Willy (it's huge btw)
Wearing the same underwear for a week
    Kicking a dog
Attempting to torch her uncle's pub.

Oh dear. Where to you were top of my match maker list but I don't stand a chance as 3 of your deal breakers are things I do. Now guess which ones!

Vegetarian carrot wanker who falls asleep when she's done and snores her head off? :p

There's no deal breaker for me really, at least none that I can think of that I wouldn't be able to get past.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,109 ✭✭✭Cavehill Red

There's only one deal breaker - the crazy. Sadly way more common that one might expect, and often doesn't manifest until some distance into a relationship. But the first sign of the crazy, and I'm out of the building, booking a flight to another country, changing my name and arranging cosmetic surgery.

I don't like clingers if he is clingy and too into lovely dovey crap I can't stand him.

Amazeballs would be another deal breaker. I despise that word with a passion. A guy I was seeing kept saying it even during sex, he irritated me so he was got rid of.

During sex? There's a time and a place for balls. And sex isn't...hang on.

I've broken up with girls because they were

    Clingy
Overly needy (who wants to be rung as 3am to be told about a sore fcuking toe)
    Cheap
    Stupid (there have been many)
She wanted a baby (we'd been seeing each other 2 months)

And once when I was a young nipper, because it was rag week and I wanted the shift.

Was with a really beautiful and really cool girl before and everything was pretty much perfect until we closed out eyes for some shut eye. Within seconds shed have half the house awake with her snoring. It was a disaster. Tried to be with her for a awhile but just couldn't do it any longer.

Another used to have hard skin at the end of her feet and would sit in the couch and pick it off, disgusting bitch altogether.

Another that used to wear either shoes too high or tight and it made her have big horrible lumpy toes. See ya!

Not giving me 5mins peace to do what the fock I want. Went to see my friend in London and was seeing this chick for a few weeks and she called 20 something times in an hour. Dumped on the spot.

Tampon tea would definitely be a deal breaker, should be able to make proper tea, in a pot, with tea leaves.

Deal breaker for me is cheating, but my girlfriend hasn't worked for nearly 4 months now and it's getting a bit irritating at this stage, she could have a job in a week, but no, she wants a job with a posh restaurant. I wouldn't mind it if I didn't have to pay for everything now and her dole only covers her part of the rent. Ok, she hasn't asked for any money, but still...

    Smoking
    Excessive drinking
Not intelligent enough/doesn't like learning new things
Sexist (seems obvious but I've met a lot of otherwise great guys but they have old fashioned sexist views)
    Not good at kissing/foreplay etc.
    Too needy/clingy
    Mammys boys
    Lazy
    Bad hygiene
    Don't exercise/eat healthily

There's probably a lot of other things too :pac:

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,293 ✭✭✭1ZRed

    Neediness
    Being posessive/controlling
    Untrusting
Not able to have a laugh/mess around and being too sensitive slagging each other.

And worst of all, being an overall headwreck.

    Fair enough, smoking then!
