I posted here a while back about how the ex was treating me like crap...anyways fast forward i ended it and that was that....most of her stuff is still here as shes living with friends.she made things clear that she didn't want to talk to text me etc so i respected her decision and didn't bother
She keeps showing up unexpected and tries being all friendly.calling me saying she misses me and then rings me saying I should head out and get the shift etc
I have decided not to react and just laugh it off or just chane the subject....why does she keep doing it.how would you deal with it?

Pack up all her remaining stuff, give her a time, date and place to pick it up. Text/call her that this random calling is inappropriate and the relationship is over now so she needs to leave you alone. I hate this type of behaviour by people after break ups. She didn't have the manners to respect you during the relationship and she still isn't.

Yep, totally agree. Send her a text, tell her that her stuff will be available on X time and date for collection and if it is not collected it will be donated to charity. Have it ready at the door. Do not leave her into your home.

Stop answering her texts and calls. She will keep calling if you keep answering. Do not open the door to her if she calls around unexpectedly. If she keeps calling around and you happen to answer not knowing it's her, just say 'Our relationship is over, I have nothing more to say to you and do not wish to see you' (or something similar) and close the door.

You just contradicted yourself there. People advised you not to engage with her, and you said that's what you've been doing. But then said you do talk to her. I think you should re-read the two posts above yours and do exactly as they say. You're not going to get any better advice than that.

Who cares why she's still doing it. You will never get a satisfactory answer to that question. She's doing it because she knows you take the bait every time and can wind you up, or she's mjust wrecking your head or she thrives on drama. It doesn't really matter. You can stop all of this by ignoring every one of her calls. You are not obliged to answer her just becuase she rings. Take control of the situation and start making decisions to suit you rather than engaging with her becuase you feel you have to.
