I bought a pre owned PS3, and the previous owner had played black ops 2 on the system, not linked to a PSN account. When I put my own on it, black ops 2 still shows as having 7% of trophies earnt. When I bought the game today, started playing it, still showing the same. I de activated deleted the previous user account(the one that was already on the system when I bought it), made a new user account, re-activated my PSN, and started a new black ops 2 save file, but it still shows 7% trophies earned. Any help here?

Strange, you might have to perform a factory reset by using the restore utility under system settings. That will completely wipe the drive and clear any old info on it. That 'should' clear the trophy info. If you are doing this id say save your game save files in usb first, if you can.

I have all my saves backed up on PSN+ so its not a problem. Redownloading all those games though >.<

From the sound of it that profile never had a PSN ID tied to it, when you logged your account into it first it added the trophies to your account. Now even if you delete the profile the trophies are tied your PSN id on Sony's servers.

    you're stuck with them.

That sounds weird, psn should only suck in your trophies if you activate a psn account in the same use profile that had the trophies in the first place. OP, did you delete the old user straight away or play any games logged in as them?

I played in the old user account, I only deleted it today. But the same person had played PES 2011, and that reset it's trophy count 0% after I put my PSN ID on it.
