    Hi All,

Myself and my wife to be will be getting married next April (2014) and are looking into South Africa for our honeymoon stoping off in Dubai for 4 nights on the way. We have been lucky enough to visit Dubai before but we stayed in old Dubai and only visited the Jumeriah beach area for half day. What we are looking for is somewhere near the Madinat Jumeriah / beach area to stay for 4 nights. Ideally we would like to relax for 2 days on a beach and then perhaps use other 2 days to visit the palm maybe and see parts of Dubai again that we would like to. As its our first place after the wedding we would love a top class hotel on or near the beach. Ideally we would love to stay in Madinah Jumeriah hotels but these are so expensive. Our budget is roughly €250 a night. It would be great for peoples advice on what hotel you might recommended near this area- we have seen the Jumeriah beach hotel and Hilton seem good value and also the Grovenor but again we would love peoples opinions and advice. Ideally we are looking for a top class hotel on the beach that is around the Madinat Jumeriah area. I will email the hotels to see if there are any offers etc but as its so far away at the moment I just wanted to ask for adice here.
    Thanks in advance lads

I was working in Fujairah a few years ago but I stayed in the Habtoor Grand and Spa for a few days compliments of the company I worked for at the time (I had traveled to the UAE, Oman and Germany in less than a weekl!) I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the my stop over there.

The grounds are massive with extensive gardens, the hotel also has some beach frontage. There are a few restaurants and bars on site. The breakfast and lunch buffet were amazing in the main restaurant.

Its next store to Le Meridien on the strip and if you fancy some shopping the Mall of the Emirates is about 10-15mins away by taxi (it has an indoor ski slope kinda surreal watching Arabs eat snow).:D
