camping in cavan area.

    Thinking of doing a tour of cavan from drogheda more than likely wild camp for a few nights anyone know of any good lakeside spots i could hide away in not be seen ;) mind you not until the weather improves and gets warmer .no harm having a kinda plan.

    Check out Derrycasson wood on the shores of Lough Gowna. No camping site. Alone.

    I don't know anything about camping etc however

    Killykeens a really nice spot, ya pass by the Radisson Farnham Estate on the way to it.

    Thanks for that yes some lovely spots around leinster just a matter of asking where they are and locals are always best to ask.;)

    I'm not quite sure but it was definitely there on 1607 when the Earls caught a plane.
