Restrictions Passcode

Right so, not really a question here, more an observation.

I recently (a few weeks ago) updated my iPhone to 6.0.1. Since the update, my phone now shows restrictions enabled and the passcode is not one of my own.

I am absolutely 100% confident that neither I nor anyone else has set a passcode for restrictions on my phone. Save the possibility that someone broke into my house while I was sleeping and set the code while the phone was on my bedside locker and then left quietly.

I have since read heaps and heaps of posts on various forums on the internet where people are looking for a restrictions passcode that they can't remember, with quite a few coming to the realisation that they have not forgot it, they simply never set one in the first place.

So, I am wondering who else has had this issue? Is there some bug in the update that can cause this to occur?

don't think anyone has posted here with that problem, either way a restore should fix it

Done the restore to recover restrictions but it is a shame to have to start again with a new phone setup. Contacts and all that never seem to synch back to the phone they way they left it!
