Posting on a thread problem

Just noticed a weird one there responding on a thread. I submitted my post & got redirected back to the thread but my post wasn't there. I noticed from the follow/unfollow button i was now subscribed(i've set to subscribe to threads i respond to). I clicked back to the home page & then had a followed thread notification with my post as unread on that thread.

    Hope that's a clear enough explanation! :o

Basically its like there was a delay in my post showing up but getting subscribed anyway. So when my post showed it was 'unread' from a notification point of view.

What essentially happened is you made your post on Boards Hamster A, and got the thread display and your notifications count from Hamster B . Hamster A was a little slow getting the new post to Hamster B, so it was like you didn't post it. It usually occurs during times when Boards is busy, it's called replication lag and it's not really something we can fix.

The solution is a refresh in 99.9% of cases :)

    Thanks for the bug report

    Danny

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
