    Hi I am just wondering if any could recommend any databases for journal articles, if you are not a student. I am looking for full articles and a google search has produced lots of abstracts but not full articles. Does any know what would be the best database to join or look at for child psych related articles? Thanks a mill!

    very difficult to get access to these articles without a subscription, subscriptions are often extremely expensive for the individual. What I'd recommend is you find a friend within a university and borrow their credentials to do your searches or go to a university and get guest access. Most public libraries won't have anything useful.

    Alternatives are google.scholar, sometimes they throw up links to pdfs you can download.

    If you had a couple in particular you wanted downloaded list them here and I'll try forward them to you. As we're both new users I don't think we have private messaging rights.

    OP do you work with the HSE or any or the hospitals as they have access to various online journals.
