Please recommend a 2-3 furrow plough make..... easy set-up and easy maintenance i.e parts availability, non reversible and suitable for light reseeding and potatos / gardening ....will be on mf265....budget 500 euro or there abouts

P.S. something I can sell on easily if necessary - cheers

Do you have heavy land, with stony patches? If so you will need a spring loaded plough. On light land, a straight plough will do, and be a good bit cheaper. I would go with a Kvernaland myself, but you should come across a Fislers or something else cheaper. Doing a small bit of reseeding, etc, you might only need points every few years.

I would advise the OP to double his budget and if the land is not too stony buy a KV MZ with number 8 boards, he will not go too far wrong then.

If occasional ploughing, a Sanderum may also suit and most of those have springs but I'm not a fan.

Hi, there is a nice looking 3 furrow spring loaded plough up on Done deal in Galway. You could drop off the back furrow if you liked. It has disks on each furrow, essential when ploughing ley ground. No price listed though.

its listed under "yard clear out".

    Hi,
I'm not sure where this should be posted. I'm looking for someone to plough a half acre field in Tralee, the area is tight so a small tractor with a 2 furrow plough would be ideal. Any idea on where to go?
    Thanks
