Fianna Fáil has recovered ground to become the best supported party in the State for the first time since the economic crisis struck.

What does this say about Irish people in general. Should we bother to allow people to vote at all, or do we need a different way of electing people, can the Irish be trusted at all when 92% voted RCC in the census

Memories of goldfish, village politics, and the lack of viable alternatives.

As in the election of FG, a vote for Kenny was a vote against FF. Now a vote against FG is a vote for FF. The gombeen seesaw.

Fine Gael is down six points, the first significant drop it has taken in an Irish Times poll since taking office almost two years ago. The party is strongest among the best-off AB voters and weakest among the poorest DE category.

Fine Gael, party of the well off it seems

Either people have short memories or they're just stupid. Fianna fail are the bent bastards who got this country into the state it's in.
