    Hi there,
Just wondering if i fail my elective for this semester can i repeat it over the summer or do u only get 1 chance with an elective?I think that u can repeat your core modules over the summer if u fail.
    Thanks

Any resits have to be done in the next exam session. ie if you fail an exam in summer, you'll repeat it next christmas.

Or you could just not fail it. It's pretty easy to not fail something.

It's still reasonably early that no assignments or midterms are done yet, not too late to change elective if it's that bad...mid terms and assignments will generally start around next week or the week after I think though, so you'd want to change now if you were going to and think you might fail what you're doing.

Even take an extra elective and then drop whichever one is worse before the end of the semester, so as not to have it as one of your subjects in the exams so it wont be a fail.

i think the deadline for switching electives closed at the end of week 2, but it's still far too early to even consider the fact that you're going to fail, in all honesty the bare minimum will at least scrape you an E.
