sheep eating ragworth

Been asked to put sheep in with horses to eat ragworth, will the sheep eat the ragworth in preference to the grass or will they only eat ragworth when the grass is gone.

the sheep eat the bud of the ragworth that is coming up at the minute, it will not harm them and a great way to get rid of ragwort
