Another new song and mix. Opinions?

I just finished another song and mix. It seems every new song I try gives me a bunch more stuff to learn. I think one of the most important things is to rest my ears. Coming fresh after a night's sleep does wonders for perspective!

There's obviously a bunch of stuff wrong with this mix. But some outside ears would be great to either confirm or deny what I'm hearing. Sibilants are still a problem for me, but aside from that any pointers/suggestions/criticism?

Have you tried a dynamic mic on your vocal dude?
    What's your chain?

I have but I don't like it. My chain is just mic (this song is a t. bone SCT-800) to interface really. I use the Waves SSL strip on it then.

Try angling the mic down a bit towards your chin, might soften the sibilants out for you...
On the mix itself: for me the vocal isn't sitting into it right.
It's sitting back too much, it sounds like you're burying it cause it's a bit thin sounding?
Kick is getting masked by the bass too.

Cheers. I'll give that a try. I find it hard to mix my own vox cos I don't like the sound of my own voice. So I probably tend to bury it a bit alright. I'll have a look at the kick too. I've some slight standing waves in my room still so the low end is always a problem area. I just have to keep at it...

    Thanks for the input.
