High Pitch Scream from WII

    Hey folks got a wii at xmas for the son and got it second hand off of adverts. However when he went to turn it on today this high pitch screaming noise came the wii....really ear piercing!!!!

    Anybody have any idea what this is or how to fix it?

    Any idea is it repairable or what kind of cost i'd be looking at?

    Tbh a replacement Wii might be the best option and they are inexpensive right now.
    So you could scout Adverts and pick one up, without games or even controllers for less that €50 if you negotiate.
    Certainly a seller can make more selling the controllers separately right now.
    Haggle!

    Actually, here's one, without controllers, going for €40!
