The innovative bus service introduced by a local operator in December, linking Ballinamore to Cavan with onward opportunities for travel to Dublin, the Airport etc... sadly is being withdrawn due apparently to a lack of use of the service in Ballinamore. The issue of new services introduced by private operators not being eligible for the free travel pass scheme is clearly also a factor:

The service will continue to serve Enniskillen, Swanlinbar, Bawnboy, Ballyconnell, Belturbet and Cavan but the Ballinamore part of the route is discontinued.
