Can anybody please tell me how to turn off the immobiliser on a saab 96 (2006) .
I cant start the car, as the car is saying the immobiliser has it locked down.

    Is it a saab 95?

    Have you any spare keys?

Might also be worth disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes. Make sure you have the keys with you while you are doing it. (Central locking can sometimes lock when you reconnect).

Happened me on a 93. Removing the battery from the key and the car itself and refitting fixed this.

Disconnect the negative and just ensure that the spanner does not touch the positive and it will be fine.
