a friend of mine was saying that she feel very nervous when there is absolute scilence in the room and she needs to eat some crisps as everyone could hear the crunch. anyone else out there who felt the same nervousness.

I dont care about that sound, let someone else get nervous with the feeling of wanting it :D

You shouldn't eat crisps at funerals. Your friend is a monster.

I like to hum and rock back and forth. I can't rock too far though or my helmet will fall off.

    Maybe she suffers from paranoia.

I always seem to manage to crunch loudly on crisps during quiet bits in the cinema and then get all self conscious about it and stop chewing until the action gets back going again.

Many of us might be really doing it. I have seen a lady waiting for a very loud scene to wait and talk to her little kiddo to behave.

Me too. Or when you sneak in a can of coke, it always seems to go very quiet just at the "Click........SSSssssssss" bit.

When I do that I always let out a little self-satisfied chuckle after I open the can and then everyone thinks it's beer and I'm deadly.

Yes, we must begin her treatment as soon as possible.
Stage 1 is giving her some hard boiled sweets.

Good idea. Its sound will make others suffer from paranoia. Will she need a prescription to get that?
