Visa refund on fake goods?

I purchased some goods from abercrombiedublinireland.org only to find out that the goods were fake on arrival.
Speaking to TSB (my card issuer) they say I have no redress as the goods were delivered to me and it doesn't matter that they were fake.

Is there anything I can do to reclaim my money?
Their advice was to contact A&F and that they might replace the goods (ha!).

The website also charged my credit card more than the original agreed price, but this difference can be reclaimed.

    Thanks!

A website like abercrombiedublinireland.org should have started alarm bells ringing it is pretty obvious that it isn't the real deal.

I'd also let these folks know.

    http://eu.abercrombie.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CustomerService?storeId=19159&catalogId=11556&langId=-1&textKey=HELP_BRANDPROTECTION&pageName=brand-protection

If you think you have counterfeit Abercrombie & Fitch, or if you see our stuff somewhere other than one of our stores, let us know. Just drop us a note at BP_Tips@Abercrombie.com. We appreciate your help.

The goods that were delivered to you were not the goods that you ordered. Ring the bank again.

Thanks for the reply. I rang the Dublin store and they knew about the site already. Said it's a constant battle for them. I'll send an email through your link too.

Sorry but they where; anyone who thinks they can buy a premium brand at 70% discount accross the line...

Why would one not be able to purchase premium brands at a discount? They have sales too, plus there're outlet malls all over the world selling discounted designer goods.

Unless the item was marketed as a repro they were not.

Sorry, but visa cannot be held responsible for your own stupidity.

On every piece of they produce? Would you believe me if I offered to sell you a brand new 50" LCD Sony with 70% discount along with every other Sony product for a discount from sonyireland.org?

It's not the same as electronics though is it? There're plenty of outlets selling last years/seasons clothes at reduced prices - including the company I the company I thought I was purchasing from. The clothes were bought after Christmas from a very legit looking site so I had no reason to think the goods would be fake.

This is taking the thread off-topic as it's not an issue about whether I thought the goods would be fake - I didn't and the goods I got were not what I ordered so back to my original question - does anybody know if this is covered by a purchase protection plan of some kind?

Thanks to those who have tried to answer the question constructively!
