Reverting from Windows 8 to Windows 7

Right, recently got the W8 for €15 deal but some of the applications I need to use arent 100% compatible with W8. Not gone on W8 tbh, and if its faster under the hood then its not noticable imo. The windows.old folder is still there, can I jump back to that or is it a case of doing a clean install altogether? There is a…

There is a hidden parition but the program to access that hasnt worked since the upgrade.

I'm in the same boat myself. Unfortunately, as far as I know that isn't permitted by the upgrade licence.

You've right-clicked on your application and run the Compatibility Troubleshooter I assume?
