Metal gate lock new

    Hi
    I had replace a mechanical gate lock with an electrical one. There is an unsightly circular hole left behind in the gate as a result. Is there any type of metal"filler" you can get to fil that will work with metal!? That you can paint over... Thks

    get a metal plate about 6 inches by four inches and bore a hole the same size and location of the new lock bolt or weld it in place and paint

    Too much hassle ! Bit of appropriate filler will do ... Thks for your very true advice
