The bus eireann service from Cork to Waterford should run more frequently.

    How frequent is it?

Every hour IIRC. But I read somewhere they announced some cuts.

Visit buseireann.ie for further information on the routes.

It is not bad from Waterford to Cork.

But there is no way getting to Cork after 10.15am.

The first bus from Waterford to Cork is at 5am, then 8am, then every hour after that until 6pm. After that, its 7.30 and 9pm. Weekdays I was looking up for this.

For Cork to Waterford, again on weekdays, first bus is at 8.40am and its every hour on the hour until 8.40pm.

Not sure where your getting those times..

Use the Journey Planner on the Bus Eireann website to keep up-to-date I guess.
