I have an old MF165 (1971) and whilst I have the old brown tax book, the handwritten information is illegible through being faded. How can I find out what reg the tractor is? Will the local tax office be able to work out the reg. Then how much is vintage road tax and where is the best place for insurance for a vintage tractor?

Maybe ask the tax office and give them the chassis number if you have it either on the tax book or find it on the engine.Assuming its been taxed before.Tax is 56 euro, up from 52.Have you tried FBD insurance. We use them on our 82 Davy BROWN 1490.
