Hi Guys I am just after being accepted for an undergraduate course in the uni of Derby uk and I am wondering about funding.

I have already completed an undergrad Hons Degree in which i received funding for and after taking a year out I now want to go back and study something else.

Does anyone know if i would be eligable for NHS Bursary or any type of grant to cover fees or this is not an option at all becasue i have previously received one???

    All help appreciated :)

    Thanks!!

You should be entitled to apply for bursaries etc but I'm not sure about the grant. I know if you have been in receipt of the grant before then I don't think you can get it a second time.

I'm currently studying a MA in Ulster Uni, and still waiting to hear from the grant people, I'll have graduated before they get back to me! :P

I have heard of a few places offering funding for postgraduate studies. Best thing to do is check the college website, they have all the links there. I hope this helps.

The only financial help you can get at the moment is the tuition fees loan (about 5.500/year). Unless you've been living in the UK for the last three years, you will not be eligible for any maintenance loans/grants, not even the NHS bursary.
Bursaries and scholarships organized by universities may be an option, but they're hard to get.
