    Hi everyone
I am hoping someone can give me more info on the CE Scheme.

Been unemployed for a while, and Happy to get out to work again

I had an interview in November 2012, for a Job on the scheme, and was successful
That week I was sent out forms, including Garda Vetting which I filled up and sent back to them.

The Garda Vetting Office would have had my form, the last week in November.

So far no responce, has anyone been through this process in the last few months and how long more do you see me waiting?

The job is an after school assistant, Mon - Fri afternoons 19.5 hrs per week

I currently get 142.60euro on the social, live with my partner and have 1 child.
Will i get 208euro, on scheme?
    Im 25years old.
How long does this work last?

Are you entilted to any holidays, after so long at work?
I know, I will be off on Bank Holidays and told 2 weeks in August

    If anyone can help, Thanks

Can just answer the Garda vetting question for you. There is a 20 week wait at present for it to be processed

as highlighted and you may get a 2nd year if your lucky. As regards the 4 weeks holidays (81hrs) if you start late into whats called the 'project year' some sponsors can be mean enough to only give you a pro rata holidays. e.g if you start two months into the scheme, they may only give you 10/12th of the 81hrs and so on.

If you then got a 2nd year this would be the full project year that you would now be on, so you are entitled to 4 wks.
