Job seeker's allowance

    Hello all. I hope someone could give me some useful information. My problem is that I have applied for job seeker's allowance at the start of november, but I still haven't heard anything back yet. Does anyone know how long is the waiting time,in avarage, or someone who applied recently and got it, how long did she/he waited for it? any phone number i shoul call? I found 2 phonenumbers on citizens.ie related to job seekers allowance, phoned them but they told me they are not the right one, when i asked them for a phonenumber which will be the right one, the first i called told me the second's phone number, when i called the second phone number they told me to call the first's phone number. I also asked them in my local office, but didn't get any usefull information. thank

    Thank You very much for Your answer. I submitted my information, there was no category of job seekers allowance or any other similiar category, so I submitted for the General enquiri.thans again
