I waS looking at YouTube and one comment mentioned a duff, never heard of it so I Googled it and it stands for dumb ugly fat friend and it was followed by the ugly girl in a group that people hang out with to make themselves look better.

I was wondering does this actually happen that some females purposely have ugly friends just so they look better?

in my opinion it does happen, I know of one girl and all she does is b!tch about this other girl who we'll say isn't that pretty, but when it comes to a night she's the first girl the other girl will ring.

Of course there is more to friendship then what people look like such as someone you trust or someones personality, but are some females this shallow on atleast a subconscience level?

I thought the D was for 'Designated' but that's just semantics.

Every group of girls has one and you're almost guaranteed that if you get chatting to one of the hotties, she'll be hanging around like a bad smell.

Of course, you could always take the 'A Beautiful Mind' approach and go for the ugly to make the hot ones go "WTF?!" and you more desirable but that could backfire and you're stuck with the aforementioned DUFF.

And no one wants that.

Have you never heard the tactic of infiltrating a group of girls by chatting to the ugly one first? Then when they start talking, move on go the one you really want!

I doubt a good looking girl would consciously go out to buddy up with a hound purely based on that rational :rolleyes:
