“Twisted” (formerly “Socio”) is a one-hour mystery full of twists and turns that is centered on a charismatic 16-year-old with a troubled past who recently reconnected with his two female best friends from childhood. He becomes the Prime Suspect when a fellow student is surprisingly found dead in her home. The series will be executive-produced by Gavin Polone, (“Gilmore Girls,” “Zombieland,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “My Boys,” “Jane By Design”) David Babcock (“Brothers & Sisters”) and Adam Milch (“Greek”), who also wrote the pilot. The drama stars Avan Jogia (“Victorious”), Maddie Hasson (“The Finder”), Kylie Bunbury (“Prom”), Kimberly Quinn (“Terriers”), Sam Robards (“Treme,” “Gossip Girl”), newcomer Ashton Moio and Denise Richards (“Two and a Half Men”). The series is produced by Prodco, Inc.

Woo hoo!....ABC Family will air the FULL pilot of Twisted after the season 3 finale of PLL, next Tuesday the 19th....well done ABCF!, the audience for the PLL finale will be huge.

Watched this last night, hmmm....it was described as Dexter teens, it is nothing close to Dexter. What we have here is a male version of Pretty Little Liars, take the Toby character and make him the lead.

Another murder/mystery a-la PLL or TLG....did he do it or not?, his female BFF's are trying to figure him out and try and find the real killer. After 5 years of being banged up for killing his aunt he returns, and a teen girl ends up dead.

Did he do it?

the end scene with him having the necklace the dead girl was wearing suggest yes

but like all the shows they'll twist and turn, throw in red herrings galore. We'll think he's good, then bad....etc. , if I hadn't seen PLL or TLG i'd rate this pilot higher, now...seen it all before.

I'll give credit to Avan Jogia playing Danny, he has the socio killer look down and he played the part very well, you never knew if he was a killer or being genuine. They made the point of explaining what a Sociopath was, moreso how they are highly intelligent and very good at mimicking human emotion.

Thus in this regard you question if Danny is being real or playing at someone having emotions. Annoyingly a fave of mine Karynn Moore

The official launch of this new ABCF shows starts tonight....i've seen the pilot ^, might watch it again to recap. Still no word on Bunheads or The Lying Game sadly.

Season finale on Tuesday....i never got past episode 4, pretty brutal. No word on renewal as yet....very much a toss up as ABCF can afford to drop this because they have Ravenswood and Chasing Life waiting in the wings.

^ actually....the mid season finale is *this* Tuesday....as it got 10 + 1 order...its been greenlit for a backorder of 11 episodes. Charles Pratt Jnr. has been brought onbord as showrunner and will write/ex. produce.

Fans of The Lying Game knows he delivers on the twists and shockers....so this news might redeem the show and make me watch it :-)
