Dog Guard for Car

Had a look but can't see any threads on this. Hope I am posting in the right place.

Can anyone recommend a decent Dog Guard for the back of the car. Is there anywhere that does them to fit specific cars or can anyone recommend a universal one at a decent price?

I am open to one floor to ceiling but one that attaches to headrests would be great. Car is a Renault Laguna II.

Bit expensive but fits to headrests allowing for more space for the dogs. Fits my golf hatchback. Have it a couple of years and had no problems. Easy enough to take on & off.

Looks good but is a tad pricey.

The ones from Barjo Engineering are brilliant. Pricey new but they also sell second-hand ones on the site. They are custom made for your car make and model.

Hi, got mine out of argos and took the bars off and used thick cable tie's to attach to the head rest, we got 2 large dogs and it works fine and its a lot cheaper:D, also halfords do a good one too but its also expensive, hope that helps.

+1 on barjo, we've had a barjo in the last 3 cars we've owned, all second hand. Check out eBay, also www.agilitynet.co.uk in the fleamarket section

Cheers for the suggestions folks. Need to do 2 cars with new baby coming so don't want to fork out too much between guards and boot liners.

Which Argos one did you get and attach with cable ties to headrests? The one with the bars or the mesh? Thanks....

Hi, we got the mesh type, there's 2 bars that hold it up, we just unsrewed them, hope that helps:D

I read the header backwards. As in Guard Dog for car. I thought that's a bit excessive lol
