central heating wont heat water now..

    Hi guys,
    Just got 2 extra radiators put on at home into a new room by a plumber.
    But now when I put on the central heating it doesnt heat the water that wud run to our taps etc?
    Any idea what is the prob?

    is there a gate valve near the side of the cylinder? turn it up a half turn.


    or if he drained the system, the coil might be airlocked

    Just as a matter of interest, did the heating work for the plumber after he fitted them?

    No I dont think it did..we had only put on central heating later and noticed then thst the water didnt heat up..we have to turn the immersion on now to heat water

    give him a shout so. if you drain, you have to get all the airlocks out. can be a balls but thats the risk you take when draining

    Often got the shock of me life alright!! Or it's alot worse when the water is 60 degrees. Once put a motorised valve on a hot pipe. Feckin horrible!
