    Hi guys,

Just wondering if any of ye have seen any gay valentines cards floating around Dublin? I'm not much into valentines day, but I think it would be nice to find a cute card :) I've seen gay marriage cards in Tesco but never any valentines day cards!! I know online would probably be my best bet but I fear I've left things a little too late for that

+1 for Huggitos. Accents Cafe on Lr Stephen Street stocks their cards (since you asked about Dublin), but I haven't been in recently enough to see if they have the Valentines ones in, might be worth popping in if you're nearby ;-)

Thanks guys ^^ As for making one - unfortunately my artistic capability is incredibly low, so I wouldn't want to have to put my partner through the awkwardness of having to pretend I had made him something nice :p

You can get them customised or hand made

I did a qucik search - these companies can I think customise them

This woman does lovely hand made ones and she does a lot of lgbt specific stuff

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I've always gotten by with "for the one I love" ones :) with lots of hearts and roses.

Have seen plenty of civil partnership cards so I suppose there is a market and a demand so valentines cards etc will surely follow.

If you're lazy, you can get fairly neutral ones anywhere. They're not specifically for gay couples but the teddies aren't clearly male and female or they just have hearts on them. You can pick them up in Hallmark or wherever you usually buy cards.
Paperchase are usually good but I haven't been there in a couple of months so I haven't seen what their cards are like this year. They have a shop in Arnotts and the basement of A-Wear on Grafton St.

I third Huggitos. I won some of their cards and they're absolutely gorgeous cards. Brilliant quality and some of the designs are adorable.

Yeah, Huggitos have a great range, they have an online store too if you're not in Dublin.

I was about to suggest Huggito's myself, I won a competition of theirs last year and they sent me 2 cards and they were lovely and well received by the recipients who weren't even aware you could get gay themed cards! Check them out.

Add injury to insult and get him some burgers or a lasagne while you're in Tesco!

I'll be busy Valentine's night myself - threesome.
