    Hey all,

From the searches being a few years old and stuff I was wondering what Tac-light, torch, flashlight etc that can be bought from irish retailers would you recommend as I'm in the market for one.

Essentially it's going on an M4, I am looking to spend between 40-80 on it and where to buy it.

    Thanks for any help

I cannot recommend this highly enough, absolutely brilliant torch. Max output of 470 lumens, has 2 other brightness levels plus strobe setting. Along with the high lumens the most important feature is the toughened lens, I've cracked the lense in many a torch in Tallaght CQB but this one has lasted the course. A bit pricey yes, but you get what you pay for.

Would you know where to get a mount ring for it? or does it come with one?

It certainly looks like it could illuminate a street :)
Do you know if there is much difference other than price between the 3 Klarus models?

    Thanks,

Agreed, that is an excellent unit and you do get what you pay for, however nothing is indestructible, so if it's damaged beyond repair, it will be ouch on the wallet :(

For that reason, I'm going to try this one first: http://www.adverts.ie/camping-outdoor-pursuits/led-focus-zoom-light-lamp-for-air-soft-guns/1302522

It should be good enough for our purpose of use ;)

I've gotten cheap torches like that on ebay that have done, the job. Like this for example and this.

Those aren't the exact same ones as I both mine in 2011 but they appear to be from a quick search.

The only real diff between the Klarus torches in stock is the light output, the XT10 being the strongest output of the range AirsoftEire have in stock.

That said, the torches the lads have recommended will do the job, which I have owned, but after 3-4 times of cracked lenses I decided to go with the XT10 as it came highly recommended in AI magazine and I haven't been disappointed. The final decision is yours ;-)

Cheers lads, this info is gold! Thanks a bunch!

I reckon I will go with the Klarus though, you get what you pay for plus I can fashion a Plastic protective cover for it myself :)

    Thanks again!
