It's currently sold out but it must be good as doctors are worried.:)

    ABOUT/HOW IT WORKS

The Vaportini provides a revolutionary way of consuming alcohol. It is inhaled rather than swallowed. It is smooth and flavorful, the subtleties of the individual spirits are apparent. It is absorbed directly into the bloodstream and does not go through the digestive tract. This has the advantage of no calories; no carbs, no impurities and the effects of consuming alcohol are immediately felt, making it easier to responsibly imbibe. Unlike traditional consumption of spirits, Vaportinis give more control, shortly after exhaling all of the effects of the alcohol consumed are felt. In contrast, it takes 20 to 30 minutes to feel the full effects of spirits that are swallowed

I can see it catching on here and eventually being banned...genius I don't know how this wasn't invented in Ireland.

If the government finds a way of taxing it then watch the banning of it quietly go away..

    Could be wrong..

I don't just drink to get drunk, I enjoy a few beers. This takes most of the fun out of the experience.

I always enjoyed smoking (joints/pipes/bongs etc.) but never enjoyed being stoned.
I never enjoyed drinking loads of liquid but always enjoyed being drunk.

In short, my dream come true is on its way

Possibly, but I think you're thinking of the story about the liquid nitrogen being served to create a dry-ice effect. It happened in a London club just before Christmas and didn't kill her but left her without a stomach.

Exactly! Tho I do usually end up drunk, the banter keeps me in the pub all day

I think we should be moving to ban drink, it causes too many problems in society.

you'd think so but I know lots of people who use cannabis medically and recreationally and have no interest in having anything to do with criminality if it could be helped at all that would disagree with that

This has the advantage of no calories
If there is alcohol in your blood stream, there are calories being added.
    no impurities
O rly. If I deliberately put arsenic (or some other chemical) in my product, I suppose it isn't an impurity.

I've done that with alcohol years ago,it's nothing new but it gets you drunk really fast & not in a good way.You go from nice & mellow to being absolutely out of it in no time.

Saw this on Stephen Fry's Gadget Man a while back. It looked like a horrible idea then and it still does now.

James Bond saying "I like my Vaportini™ shaken not stirred" doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

Oh great, after Alcopops and WKD, and tampons soaked in vodka - a whole new way of getting teenage girls with low self-esteem who dislike the taste of alcohol completely out of it.

    What could possibly go wrong.

I assume the lack of impurities is due to the fact that you are essentially distilling the alcohol into your system (avoiding arsenic for example).

Interesting to see how treating alcohol like a drug rather than a beverage will be received.

They were doing something similar in Glasgow a few years ago but stopped because people weren't drinking as much!
